No this is a mistake and it’s been like this for months. Both Superchargers are unfortunately still waiting for activation.
Today I stopped by the supercharger at O68 Gemlik towards Izmir. Sadly, I can confirm Mr. Arda. They are not operational yet. A worker told me that they will be in 3 days.
3days?..now 3 weeks since and maybe 3 more month?..
To me it looks/sounds like an already fears competition of the 2 Turkish Charge provider ZES & ESARJ vs. Tesla.
Don’t worry now they will open 2026 for sure!!!
Last month, I filed an official complaint to EPDK (Energy Market Regulatory Authority) regarding the lack of power supply by the local energy company (UEDAS). On their response; they said the stations were given green light by UEDAS and now it is up to Otoyol A.S. (the company that runs the O-5 Highway).
Meanwhile, Turkish Competition Authority launched an investigation on Otoyol A.Ş. and ZES for blocking other companies to operate charging stations on this highway.
Thank you for your initiative!
Sounds like I had the right instinct about the competitive situation…
Back in 2019, when I drove to Turkyie for the first time, ZES was among the first company to provide a growing charging network.
Today the charging stations popping up everywhere but, ZES try to monopolise the network on the O5 highway.
Nowhere else it takes Tesla >9 month to install 6 charging points (North/South). Even more Since Tesla has opend the SuC for other car brands, this represents a serious challenge to other providers.
Last but not least,Tesla’s “pulg&charge” technology is way ahead of most others, where you have to mess around with Apps etc. etc.
Let’s hope this silly story will end soon…
Let’s hope fingers crossed Inside information from a Tesla SuC installing team confirmed the 2 new SuC in Istanbul Zorlu Center AVM and Mall of Istanbul the last one is very imported for those who drive to and from europe it’s also close to the new ring highway around Istanbul
There are now dates yet but ASP is told to me
Also stil no connectivity for foreign/ imported cars
Hmmm, knowing the ZORLU Center is the HQ of Zorlu Group which owns the Zorlu Energy System (ZES) company, it might take 2 years to be completed…
Tesla updated upcoming Supercharger names in Türkiye on the map:
Istanbul Europe, Turkiye → Beylikdüzü İstanbul, Türkiye
Antalya → Muratpaşa Antalya, Türkiye
Dates added for Superchargers:
Denizli Q4 24
Antalya Q4 24
New Supercharger installation discovered: Ilgaz, Türkiye

Very interesting location but lets see how more how beter the next plan of Elon is Georgia (the country ) So he will have to connect it to the SuC in the EU
It seems strange to me that in the whole EU they only install v4, as it is a requirement in connection with payment by credit card, and a v4 can also charge over 250 in the future. But in Turkey they only install v3, which doesn’t make sense.
Tesla Turkey team says that they have some V3 units left for installation. Once those are installed, they will proceed with the installation of V4 units.
The most important thing for us is of course that they install more and more, whether it is v3 or v4. It’s a bit of a shame that it’s not v4
