Deleted due to difficult confirmarion of data.
My apologies.

FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS… or at least hopeful news…
I went (again) to visit the site and… FINALLY SOME MOVEMENTS!!! some Tesla materials are in place to be installed.

It is my pleasure to reload some “old” stuff about the location and so…

General location. Next to AP-7 motorway.

Location in relation to the mall’s parking lot.

Thank you, updated this site.

Today (May the 28th) I went to check if there’s “work in progress” or if we have another “abandoned project” and for our joy, there’s “work in progress”, not as fast as we would like but “in progress”…

Hereunder, a general view of the site.

And here, the bases for twenty stalls (or that’s what I counted…)

As mentioned in other messages, the location is very convenient, maybe thtat’s the reason why there will be twenty stalls (if not more ) in there.

Hello everyone!!!

I went to the construction site today and took a couple of pictures, couldn’t take more because there were technicians working and I wanted to respect their privacy, besides the fact that they would probably ask me to stop taking pictures if they noticed :man_shrugging:t3:

There will be a total of sixteen V4 stalls.

This is how the place looks now;

Cheers  by now

I went yesterday to “Girona Supercharger”, as named by Tesla on their “findus” web page. I really do not understand why Tesla uses the same name for two different superchargers as the actual “Girona Supercharger” is the four stalls one located at the “Girona Ibis Hotel”. Once hat said, I just named this thread as “Girona West” just to avoid confusions, anyway, the new Supercharger could be called either “Girona West” or “Salt” beeing this last one the name of the city where the new SuC actually is being build.

And now a few pictures of the construction site.

A panoramic view.

Sixteen stalls already installed.

Four more to go for the total of twenty planned for this initial phase.

I was told that there will be a few “Destination Chargers” as well, these are intended for a quite longer stop so as to provide time for “relaxed shopping”, dining or even watch a film in one of the rooms of the theatre located at the Espai Gironès mall.

That’s all by now, I’ll report on the next visit, meanwhile, enjoy your Teslas and drive carefully  :grinning:

A couple of “screenshots” showing the duplicated name as referred in my last message

yeh it is fairly common for Tesla to do this with the naming if coming soon pins. I have 3 of the same name before.

I will never understand Tesla website practices… now tha “Girona west (Salt)” Supercharger construction disappeared from the map ???

Will it be abandoned? if this is the case, what a waste of time and money :man_facepalming:

A few months ago the Badalona SuC also disapeared and then reapered again, (and now has disapeared again). I think it’s just a bug with the SuCs under construction.

Hello everyone !!!

I went to Girona this morning and as far as I could see, the construction is almost finished, they are just trimming the landscaping and gardening details.

The final configuration is quite peculiar, 16 Superchargers and 23 destination chargers. I have no idea of who the destination chargers belong to or who does operate them… The mall company? Tesla? who knows???

Hereunder a few pictures:

And now, the million dollar question: When will Superchargers and Destination Chargers come into service???
