Finally, there is a lot of activity on the building site at Ottergemsesteenweg-zuid 702, Gent. Even though the permit for the construction of 24 V4
Superchargers was final at the end of August 2024, the installation apparently had to await the groundwork for a brand new gas station planned at the same address that will share its driveway with the Tesla superchargers. The dewatering permit for these ground works was only granted at the end of June 2025.

Last week I was passing by after work and they were doing the groundwork for the gas station.
Glad to see they have started with the superchargers

Tinq apparently couldn’t wait to open, as the first gasoline was already flowing from the pump on Thursday.
A new exit has been built, leading to the last section of the one-way road Akkerhage

=> Let’s hope that during Tinq’s opening celebration week (December 8-14), the Supercharger Gent will also be able to open?
Status Quo for the last 4 weeks now, the last mile is apparently the hardest…

Can’t wait!
Thursday they were working on the superchargers but no idea what exactly they were doing.
At that time, the gas station was still closed.
Van Der Valk has said that the intention is that everything would be finished by mid-December…

En de chargers nog aansluiten zeker? Maandag was dat nog niet…

I went looking today and two trucks were busy laying asphalt.

Asphalt is ready 
Other roadworks are ready; the last excavator left the moment I arrived. They’re currently commissioning the chargers (should be done today).
Next steps (according to the person who was commissioning):
- Installing and testing internet connectivity to the chargers (done by a Tesla employee).
- Chargers should open very soon (probably this or next week)
The person on site was also very happy with the new chargers—he said he’ll charge a lot at the new location with his Tesla
