It’s been a whisper around here, (now it’s a reality) but we have been trying to get a supercharger in Telluride, CO for a long long time. There are more Tesla cars per capita than anyplace I’ve ever been but the Town of Telluride and the San Miguel County Supervisors didn’t want “Branded” so they put J1772’s in that charge as slow as molasses. Soooo, the Town of Mountain Villiage, a gondola ride away from Telluride, has allowed Tesla to built 8 stalls in the level 5 of their Gondola Parking Garage. The entire Western Slope (SW CO) was void of superchargers, but in December of 2020 they finished building a 250 KW 8 stall in Montrose, CO. FINALLY!!! Now, if they put one on the Navajo Nation in Kayenta, AZ, the shortcut through 4 corners, driving Phoenix to Telluride would be 1 to 1.5 hours less of a drive. It was on Tesla’s plan of future locations for 4 or 5 years but has recently disappeared from the map. Bill
